Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, we all know that. However, we eat whatever is the fastest, easiest and most available food. That’s why, I want to share with you guys this delicious recipe to kick off your day with lots of energy and nourish your body. 

Hello Lagom Lifers!

My mornings are kind of chaotic from time to time and I feel like I don’t have much time available for breakfast: make the bed, dress up for work, wash my teeth, and so on. If you feel the same way like I do, then you will love this smoothie, as it only takes 5-10 minutes to make it. So let’s blend it up!

These are our ingredients:

  • 2 frozen riped bananas.
  • 6-10 spinach leaves.
  • 6-10 kale leaves.
  • 1 tsp. of organic coconut oil.
  • 2-3 cups of vegetarian milk (soy, almond, coconut, etc.)
  • ½-1 tsp. of ground cinnamon.
  • 1-2 tsp. of chia seeds.
  • Vanilla extract to taste.


Pour all the ingredients into the blender, turn it on and stop it until you get the smoothie consistency. You can add one more banana if you feel in a sugary mood; I always use three bananas because I like to have something really sweet in the morning. And do not worry about the calories of this smoothie, as it contains much fiber and chia seeds wich regulates our sugar levels in the bloodstream.

if you don’t find any kale, do not worry about it, you can use romaine lettuce instead, or you can also leave it with the spinach leaves only. To level up this smoothie, you can add some sprouts.
